Sweet potato is widely used in Brazilian cuisine, commonly found in both sweet and savory dishes. Sweet potato fries are great as appetizers or as a side dish.
Ingredients
• sweet potatos
• salt
• frying oil
Preparation method
- Peel the sweet potatoes, wash and cook them in boiling salted water until tender.
- Cut boiled potatoes into slices about 1 cm thick and deep fry them on a medium-high heat until golden brown and crisp.
- Place fried potatoes on paper towels to drain, season with salt and serve immediately, very hot.
